Additional Services
Arbor Architects is pleased to offer enhanced additional services, including Virtual Reality Workshops and Thermal Imaging Building Surveys. With the help of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (Herefordshire), we use the latest technology to provide you with enhanced services that reduce travel and material wastage and help achieve higher-performing, lower-carbon buildings, particularly in relation to retrofit projects.
This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Virtual Reality Workshops
Our commitment to environmental responsibility drives our adoption of innovative technologies that not only enhance efficiency but also contribute to a lower carbon footprint. Using Virtual Reality (VR) technology, we can immerse you in a design, minimising the need for physical prototypes and large-scale mock-ups. This not only streamlines the design phase but significantly reduces the consumption of materials and resources associated with model creation.
Our Virtual Reality Workshops will aid your project by simulating sustainable building performance. We can assess the environmental impact of design choices in real-time, optimising for energy efficiency, natural lighting, and ventilation.

Thermal Imaging Building Surveys
Our Thermal Imaging Building Surveys offer a sophisticated yet cost-effective approach to sustainable design. Leveraging cutting-edge tools, we can accurately predict a building’s energy performance and, therefore, optimise efficiency and minimise carbon emissions.
Using a thermal imaging camera, we can quickly identify areas of excessive building fabric heat loss - both when surveying existing buildings and overseeing new build construction projects - enabling us to identify where targeted interventions are required to reduce energy demand and improve the thermal performance of the building fabric.
