Gellideg Wellbeing Centre, Merthyr Tydfil

Working with the Gellideg Foundation over a number of years to design a high quality, Passivhaus Wellbeing Centre on one of the most economically and socially deprived estates in Britain. 

Following a year long consultation period with the community, we developed a design for the new centre that will regenerate the heart of the estate by providing much needed community facilities. Natural light, tactile materials and framed views to the hills create internal spaces that are welcoming, calming and inspiring.
